I'm a fan of the Star Trek series, the TV shows that is. Every attempt I've seen to make a decent video game out of this franchise has met a fiery death in the depths of the internets.

Graphics
I really don't have much to say in this department, nothing to fancy. If I was forced to give a few words to describe them, I'd have to say sub-par. The ships and environments looks like something out of the 90's, and the repetitive same old looking solar system with few planets moved around gets very boring very quickly.

Sound
Sound is one of those things that makes or breaks a game in my mind. If you're playing a realistic shooter and your gun sounds like it was manufactured by Fisher-Price, well, you can see where I'm going with this. At points there is so much sound being pumped into your ears that you almost have no idea what is going on. Phaser and Disruptor sounds overlap combat and tactical dialog overlapping destruction and ship sounds, if there was only one word to describe it, it would be clusterfuck.

Controls
Oh dear. Each ship handles like a large asteroid and trying to pull off any tactical maneuvers in one during combat could be considered suicide. Allied ships constantly try and find the longest way possible to the target area and insist on disobeying any orders given.

Story
I don't even need to say anything, but I will. The story is about as immersive as the last Star Wars movie, voice overs and plot are dull and uninteresting.

Fun + Replay
Not much fun is to be had with this colossal failure of an RTS. Badly programmed AI makes for some very frustrating missions and he sheer length, or there lack of, makes this game very bland. The game feels more like a chore then entertainment After completing the singleplayer I felt no more need to even look at the game again.

When browsing the game store I saw this game sitting on the shelf, proudly displaying the Bethesda company logo on the front. Don't buy into it though, you will be disappointed. I had honestly expected more from a game even associated with a company that had brought me many hours of enjoyment.

Overall Legacy is a complete failure in my eyes and I don't recommend it to anyone.
